WHAT ARE SERVICES LIKE AT EMMANUEL?
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Our Worship service begins at 10:00 am each Sunday but please feel free to come early and hang out, have a cup of java, and enjoy fellowship before Worship begins!
HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
At Emmanuel Waupun, it doesn't matter what you wear – as long as you feel comfortable! If you want to ‘Suit-Up’, go for it! If you feel more comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt or a Packers jersey, that works too. Church should be comfortable - come as you are!
WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I NEED PRAYER?
Emmanuel has a prayer chain that stands ready to intercede on your behalf whenever you have a need. You may request prayer by doing one of the following:
- Submit a "Prayer Request" under "Connect" here on the website
- Fill out a Connect Card located in the church pew
- Contact Laurie Vande Slunt at 920-324-9533
- Email Laurie at email@example.com
Members of our prayer team are available at the front of our sanctuary after each of our worship services; it would be their honor to pray for you.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED IN A MINISTRY AT EMMANUEL?
We have several ways to get connected at Emmanuel. Register for Adult Minisitires right here on the website, (more ministries being added soon!) or visit The Welcome Table in the main foyer on any weekend to find many ways to connect at Emmanuel.
AM I SUPPOSED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OFFERINGS AS A GUEST?
If you are a guest, you are not expected to ‘Tithe” or give an “Offering”.
These are things that members or regular attenders do. It's not an admission cost. The money received on Sunday goes toward paying staff, keeping the lights on and supporting the churches ministries. If you feel compelled to give on Sunday to support our ministry, please feel free, but know it's not an expectation.
I HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
PLEASE! Bring them!
We offer a nursery downstairs – when you come in, just let a greeter know you have children for the nursery and they will get you where you need to be.
There is also "Walkout Worship" for ages 3-8 where the kiddos start in church and are dismissed during the service.
